Scituate is a town in Providence County, Rhode Island. The town is located in the southwestern corner of the county and is bordered by the towns of Foster, Glocester and North Smithfield. The town has a population of approximately 10,000 and is home to numerous historic sites and attractions. Popular attractions in Scituate include the Scituate Art Festival, the Scituate Reservoir, and the historic village of Hope. The town is also home to the Scituate Country Club and the Scituate Public Library.
