Jamestown is a small town in Washington County, Rhode Island. It is located on Conanicut Island in Narragansett Bay and is part of the greater Providence metropolitan area. Jamestown is a popular tourist destination, as it is known for its historic colonial architecture, beautiful beaches, unique shops and restaurants, and recreational activities such as sailing and fishing.
