East Greenwich is a historic town, featuring many 18th- and 19th-century homes, some of which date back to the founding of the town in 1677. It is home to many restaurants, boutiques, and other stores, as well as a number of attractions, including the East Greenwich Yacht Club, the East Greenwich Free Library, and the East Greenwich Town Hall. East Greenwich is also home to a number of parks, including the Yacht Club Park, the Buttonwoods Park, and the Arcadia Management Area
